About Weldon
Weldon Martens’ passion for travel began early with a fascination for maps and the promise of faraway places. That curiosity has evolved into a lifetime of sophisticated global exploration, reflected in a personal collection of more than 200 National Geographic maps. Today, Weldon curates and hosts thoughtfully designed travel experiences to some of the world’s most inspiring destinations, including the world-renowned Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany, the elegant landscapes of the Swiss Alps, and multiple in-depth journeys through Greece and Turkey following the footsteps of Saint Paul. A dedicated travel photographer, Weldon captures the beauty, culture, and spirit of each destination with a discerning eye. Since 2022, he has partnered with international tour manager Gearoid O’Caoimh to deliver seamless, well-paced, and enriching journeys marked by comfort, expert guidance, and attention to detail. Now a retired pastor residing in North Newton, Kansas, Weldon brings warmth, insight, and refined hospitality to every journey he leads.
